When drying wet/damaged materials it is very important to be able to measure the amount of moisture that persists in the wall, this is where the moisture meter comes in handy. Moisture readings are taken daily to ensure that the drying equipment is positioned in the most efficient locations and to make sure the wall is back to baseline moisture readings before removing the equipment.

This spring SERVPRO of Calgary South held down water station #1 for (and ran in) the Rogers Run for L'Arche. L'Arche Calgary opens Supported Living Houses for people with developmental disabilities to help them achieve their best mentally, physically, and spiritually.

There are many techniques used to inspect a property for water damage. This Infrared (IR) photo reveals water build up in an attic space (see the darker spots). The benefit of using IR is that there is no physical evidence of inspection. But IR cannot be used alone, it can just help you on the initial inspection

Our team was called to a fire job and were astounded when they arrived to find the back of the home had been completely engulfed in flames, the neighbours siding had melted from the heat, and a vehicle was burnt to a crisp in the middle. But nothing is too difficult for our expert staff who love to be challenged.

The city of Fort McMurray was devastated by wildfires in 2016. Nearly the entire city was leveled by the flames. SERVPRO of Calgary South and SERVPRO of Edmonton Southside teamed up to respond and had over 400 boots on the ground.
