Mike Edwards

Mike has over 12 years of experience in cleaning and restoration. He began by cleaning carpets throughout his school years, and has since moved over to the restoration industry, starting as a Crew Chief in Edmonton then becoming a Project Manager, and eventually taking that role back to the Calgary franchise. He has obtained numerous certificates along the way, supplementing his experience with education.  Mike was vital in helping to mitigate losses during the 2013 Calgary floods, as well as the 2016 Fort McMurray wildfire.  Mike is now the Director of Operations for Alberta and oversees both the Edmonton and Calgary SERVPRO franchises.

Briefly describe your career path
After keeping a healthy distance from the Family Business and taking the scenic route through University, I joined the team officially in 2019 and have loved every second! The amazing team we work with, the numerous opportunities to learn and grow, and this crazy industry, I should have joined a lot sooner.

Kai Hochhausen

Briefly describe your career path
Yes sir/yes ma’am is in my blood. Focusing on the customer is how we will grow our company and its how successful companies stay successful. I’ve been honing these values for my entire working career, from retail management, metal recycling, telecom, sports marketing and hotel sales and operations – everything we do is for the client.

Mark Ayley

Mark, our Construction Manager, has 35 years of experience as a carpenter/builder in all aspects of construction from renovations to new homes to commercial and industrial buildings. He also has nearly a decade in the restoration industry working as carpenter, project manager and construction manager, so he is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to building systems, structures and envelopes. Mark has been Involved in mitigation and rebuild of major catastrophes (CAT’s) in both the 2013 floods in Southern Alberta and the 2016 Fort McMurray wildfires.

Robyn Lang

Current job title and role
Project Administrator, since September 2021

Briefly describe your career path
I have always been interested in the Construction Industry and the process of putting a building or room together. I started working for a General Contractor in 2008 and I have tried to stay close to the construction industry since. My first position in Restoration came about as the company name had “Construction” in it so I applied for the position. I have been working in Restoration ever since and I enjoy the pace of the industry and that no one job is the same.

I am a previous member of the affiliated bands of Calgary and had the opportunity to travel to Japan, Italy, California and Las Vegas as a member
