Mold Remediation in the basement of a home in Calgary, Alberta

After flooding damaged a basement in Calgary, Alberta, our disaster restoration crews were called in to help with mold remediation. When mold grows inside of a wall cavity, the contaminated drywall and insulation needs to be removed. Afterwards, the support structure (studs, foundation, etc) are thoroughly disinfected to ensure that regrowth doesn't occur. The old materials are replaced with new insulation, vapor barrier and drywall, then the walls are painted to match the adjacent walls. Once we were able to take care of all of that, the basement looked "Like it never even happened." giving the family back an entire level of their home!
