Heavy Rainfall Damages Calgary Basement

Having proper drainage around your home is essential to mitigating the risk of water damage to your property. Heavy rainfall resulted in water pooling up around this home and water found its way into the basement, damaging the exterior walls. When water gets behind your walls it can create some serious problems such as, ruining the efficiency of your insulation and promoting future mould growth. Due to the delayed reaction of the homeowner we were unable to dry the walls and they had to be removed and replaced. Our emergency team was in there as soon as possible to remove any damaged material and dry the structure. Next, our construction team restored and replaced the area back to normal.
